Our Child Safety Policies and Procedures
Westside is a Childsafe organisation. We take the safety of children and vulnerable people very seriously, and have a range of policies and procedures to ensure safety in all of our programs.
We gladly comply with the 10 Child Safe Standards of Queensland’s Child Safe Organisation system, believing that care for the vulnerable is a Biblical mandate.
Therefore, our main motivation in these matters is not simply "compliance." Rather it is compassion for children and vulnerable people involved in the life of our church.

From 1st July 2026, Westside Christian Church is a participating organisation in the Queensland Family and Child Safety Commision Reportable Conduct Scheme. For more information about the scheme, click here.
